Anastasia Mikrou - (GR)

Born in Athens in 1989, Anastasia Mikrou graduated with honors from the School of Fine Arts at the University of Western Macedonia in 2012 before completing postgraduate studies at Paris 8 University (Vincennes–Saint-Denis). She later earned a second postgraduate degree in Visual Arts and Landscape: Approaches to Natural and Urban Space and has been pursuing a Master‘s degree at the Athens School of Fine Arts since 2025.

From 2016 to 2022, Mikrou served on the Board of Directors of the Union of Greek Printmakers. She has exhibited extensively in Greece and internationally, receiving the Best Foreign Engraver Award at the Ex Libris 2019International Competition in Milan.

Her artistic practice explores abandoned places, public space as a site of coexistence and interaction, ludic art, and relational forms of artistic engagement.
